Volunteering with Jaiyeroof, Inc. will allow for the volunteer to experience Nigeria in all of her ups and downs. You will participate in 5 day workshop working with adolescent girls and our 3rd Annual Feed Our People Project. The latter half of the trip will serve as a cultural experience, fully immersing you in the lives and traditions of the people and land.
December 10-20th: Volunteers must arrive in Nigeria on December 9th in order to prepare for the first day.
All volunteers will need to obtain a passport to travel to Nigeria.

Vaccinations - The US State Department highly recommends a Yellow Fever vaccine when traveling to Nigeria. In addition, you may want to consider the following vaccines. Some of these vaccines must be started a few weeks before our trip. (Malaria, Tetanus (Tdap), Measles (MMR), Chickenpox (Varicella), Hepatitis A, Typhoid.)
Flights - Volunteers must purchase their flights and travel insurance separately.
During your time volunteering you will be residing at the Jaiyeroof Volunteer Quarters in Medina Estate - Gbgada, Lagos. Your accommodation will have all the amenities needed to make sure you feel right at home.
