Digital Content Designer — Remote
We are looking for a talented to create engaging and on-brand graphic and motion graphic elements for a variety of media.
What does a Digital Content Designer do?
As a Digital Content Designer, you will collaborate with team members to create graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos. You’ll be the one to shape the visual aspects of our website, products, social media platforms, video/motion graphics and more. Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and effectively communicate our message. Additionally you will assemble recorded footage into a finished project that is suitable for broadcasting. Ultimately bringing together sight and sound in order to tell a cohesive story.
Responsibilities
Conceptualize visuals based on requirements.
Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software and traditional mediums (by hand).
Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
Collaborate with copywriter and content creator to produce final design.
Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
Qualifications
Demonstrable graphic design experience with a strong portfolio.
Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
Solid experience with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop.)
A keen eye for aesthetics and details.
Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
Creative mind and storytelling skills.

Business Development Representative — DC/MD
We are looking for a talented and savvy professional with expectational interpersonal skills to fill the role of our Business Development Representative. If you are an ambitious, self-motivated and results-driven we’d love to meet you!
What does a Digital Content Designer do?
As a Business Development Representative, you will create and nurture long-term relationships with potential donors and/or sponsors. You will collaborate with team members to develop strategies in order to convey to donors and sponsors the need to donate to Jaiyeroof. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting donor participation, and forging strong relationships with sponsors.
Responsibilities
Compile or develop materials to submit to granting or other funding organizations.
Contact potential donors and sponsors through cold calls and emails.
Recruit sponsors, participants, or volunteers for fundraising events.
Create or update donor databases.Identify and build relationships with potential donors or sponsors.
Attend community events, meetings, or conferences to promote organizational goals or solicit donations or sponsorships.
Contact corporate representatives, government officials, or community leaders to increase awareness of organizational causes, activities, or needs.
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
Qualifications
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to deliver engaging presentations
Ability to work well with a team
Proven sales track record or experience in customer support is a plus

Social Media Specialist/Content Creator — Remote
We are looking for a talented Social Media Specialist to create and maintain a strong online presence for our non-profit. Your role is to implement online marketing strategies and develop content through social media accounts.
If you are a tech-savvy professional with an interest in communicating with everyday people and organizations through online channels and making a difference in peoples lives we would love to meet you!
What does a social media coordinator do?
As a Social Media Specialist, you will develop original content and suggest creative ways to grow our audience and promote our organizations mission/brand. Ultimately, you should be able to increase traffic (via web & social platforms) and engagement metrics aligned with our overall brand.
Responsibilities
Research audience preferences and discover current trends.
Create engaging text, image and video content that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new events, campaigns and programs.
Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics.
Communicate with industry professionals, influencers, businesses and brands via social media to create a strong network.
Facilitate online conversations with consumers/subscribers and respond to queries.
Prepare bi-weekly and monthly reports to measure web traffic, ROI and monitor SEO.
Suggest new ways to attract prospective (customers, subscribers, members and brands) like promotions, challenges, etc.
Stay up-to-date with new digital technologies, changes in all social platforms and social media best practices to ensure maximum effectiveness.
Qualifications
Expertise in multiple social media platforms.
An ability to identify target audience preferences and build content to meet them.
Familiarity with Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro or other media editing software.
Familiarity with web design and publishing
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent multitasking skills
