Jaiyeroof Scholarship Program

Eligibility

Have a high school diploma, GED or be a high school student in good standing.
Demonstrate Academic achievement and aptitude. Grade point average, extracurricular activities and rigor of coursework will be reviewed against other applicants.
Be a DC, Maryland or Virginia resident between the ages of 16 and 21 at the time of the application.
Complete a minimum of 15 community service hours with Jaiyeroof, Inc.
Be pursuing a primary college or university degree (bachelor’s or associate’s) or vocational education and training (certificate or license) from an accredited school.
Demonstrate financial need.

Scholarship funds may be used toward tuition, books, and fees.
Amounts awarded may range between $500 and $1,000.
Funds will be paid directly to your educational institution once we receive your class registration documentation.
The annual scholarship amount will be mailed in two installments; half the first semester and half the second semester (timing may vary by school).

Provide proof of enrollment for each semester at participating educational institutions.
Must submit an official grade report at the end of each completed semester/term.
Must maintain satisfactory grades of a cumulative “C” average or higher and stay continuously enrolled with at least 12 credits.
Prompt response to requests from Jaiyeroof, Inc. for documents, school invoices,

Cooperation in responding to requests to attend Jaiyeroof, Inc. functions such as fundraising events, seminars, etc. (Attendance is not required, but we encourage students to be willing to appear on our behalf.)

Complete Application Form & Essay
- Submit the form before June 30, 2022 to be considered for a scholarship for the 2022-2023 Academic Year. Email your completed application or submit google form by the deadline.
Complete minimum community service requirement by June 30, 2022
